Children's Ministries

At Morphett Vale Adventist Church, children are an important part of our community.  The mission of our Children’s Ministry programs is to nurture children into a loving and serving relationship with Jesus.

Our Sabbath morning groups, Family worships with children’s stories for all to hear, Adventurers club, school holiday Bible programs all add up to a great place for kids to be. Ensuring that all our volunteers are appropriately screened, children and a fun and safe environment to learn and grow.

Children's Sabbath School

Children’s Sabbath School is a unique part of the Sabbath worship service as it leads children to learn about Jesus through social interaction, Bible study, praise, and prayer in an environment that caters to the learning styles of children.

Our Children’s Sabbath School is comprised of the following four Sabbath School classes that serve the needs of children from birth through to youth:

  • Beginners/Kindergarten - ages Birth-5
  • Primary - ages 6-9
  • Juniors - ages 10-12
  • Earliteen – ages 13 and up

Each class has a wonderful team of volunteers committed to the spiritual growth of children and dedicated to encouraging the development of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Grace (Jesus loves me), Community (We love each other), Worship (I love Jesus), and Service (We love you, too).

We would love to meet you! Please feel free to bring your child to visit us during our Sabbath School hour from 10:15 AM to 11:00 AM. Parents are asked to stay with the children in Beginners and are welcome in support of their children in all other program if needed.

Child safety is one of our core values. We aim to ensure the physical and emotional safety of every child in any of our programs. Criminal History Record Checks (DCSI) and Screening of all volunteers and staff who work with children or young people (any person from 0 - 18 years of age).

Hope to see you on Sabbath!
